Grass Sledging
Are you ready for some Grass Sledging fun at The Wolseley Centre this summer? Back by popular demand we will be hosting Grass Sledging drop ins all day. No need to book just drop in and find us on Park Bank (near the car park).
Aimed at 4 years plus. Long sleeves and trousers, plus a sense of adventure are recommended! No booking required. Weather dependant, long ques expected.
Drop-ins
If you haven’t planned your day yet don’t panic! We have some fabulous drop in activities regularly through the year. No need to book just come along and join us for some outdoor fun!
All ages welcome. No booking required. During the school holidays
Check the website for details on locations but activities could include bug hunting, mud slides or natural crafts and more!
Pond dipping
Join us for a session of pond dipping and see what lurks beneath the water at Wolseley. From water scorpions to fish there is something exciting to find in every dip.
All ages welcome. Please note, we can only fit a certain number of children on the platform at the same time and therefore booking is essential.
We dip whatever the weather so please come dressed to play outside. Children must be supervised by their grown-ups at all times.

Wildfamilies
These seasonal bookable sessions offer your family a chance to spend a bit more time exploring one theme. That might be crafts around the campfire, spooky strolls or getting to know birds!
Sessions are held at The Wolseley Centre, plus other locations across Staffordshire in the school holidays.
Suitable for children over 3 and the whole (younger siblings also welcome). Booking requirements vary on venue.
Wildskills
Wildskills are introductory events focused around different bushcraft skills, come along as a family and learn something new and have fun. Craft work could include whittling, campfire cooking and other woodland skills.
Due to the nature of these activities the events are for ages 6 years plus only and we have smaller group sizes to booking in advance is essential to secure your place
School holidays @ The Wolseley Centre plus other locations across Staffordshire
Wild yoga
Through stories, songs and games children will learn how to safely do yoga poses, discover how to relax in a calming environment, and explore the wonders of nature.
These sessions are for 6-11 year old's. Parents/Carers can stay for the session and take part in the relaxation and explore part of the session. Booking essential.
