Aiming High
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust runs a number of free events to enable children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to enjoy the benefits of nature and wildlife. These activities are funded by Aiming High and are held at The Wolseley Centre, in the Staffordshire Moorlands and in East Staffordshire and can be anything from pond dipping to campfire cooking. They are advertised on our events page and can be booked through the Staffordshire Connects website. Search 'Aiming High' on our events page below.
Wildlife Watch
Wildlife Watch is the junior branch of The Wildlife Trusts, and is the UK's leading environmental action club for children (most appropriate for children aged 5-13).
This club takes place on the first Saturday of each month from 10-12pm at The Wolseley Centre (unless otherwise stated). We take a month off in August to enjoy the holidays! Each session has a theme. We get involved in loads of fascinating outdoors stuff, such as going on a trail to look for mammal tracks and signs, or making a refuge for insects to hibernate in.
