Explore our wonderfully wild region
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is proud to look after a huge range of wild places - whether you're looking to spot wildlife, spend some time enjoying the tranquility of nature, or enjoy a family day out, there is something for everyone.
We strive to protect and enhance these wild places so you can get close to nature where you live. This means that it is easy to go outside and get wild on your doorstep! There is plenty to explore, from our diverse range of nature reserves to our bustling Wolseley Centre and cafe near Stafford and Rugeley. Many of the reserves have accessible tracks and paths, while others are more remote and offer peace and quiet, allowing you to enjoy the wildlife around you with little disturbance. There is something for everyone!
Please respect and enjoy our wild places by:
- Taking all rubbish home, including dog poo and bags
- Sticking to footpaths and marked trails
- Only taking your four-legged friends to reserves which allow dogs and keeping them under close control at all time, and on leads where signs stipulate this.
We couldn't do this without you!
Our members help us to look after over 40 sites, and more than 4,900 acres of habitat, creating a network where people and wildlife can thrive, on your doorstep. Becoming a member is the best way you can support local nature.
Together we can ensure that our children and grandchildren can also enjoy these places in years to come.
If you're not already a member, why not join us?
