About the event
On completion of this professionally accredited course, individuals are qualified as Forest School Leaders and are able to deliver Forest School programmes within their own setting. The course combines both theoretical and practical aspects including: the principles of Forest School, best practice, practical tool use, programme planning, risk management, learning theory, child development, woodland management and much more. The cost is £1149 per participant. Course will take place over nine taught days and involves the delivery of an "Introduction to Forest School" programme within an educational setting and the production of a course portfolio over a 10 month period.
Course dates: 24th & 26th September, 1st, 8th, & 15th October 2025 (Theoretical and practical training), 22nd & 24th October 2025, (Practical skills days). The course also includes a two day Forest School first aid course (dates TBC). The course will take place at The Wolseley Centre just outside Stafford.
