The charity had to pause its face-to-face activities earlier this year after it was announced there would be another national lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some of the Trust's popular events will be returning across Staffordshire over Easter. At the moment, the People Engagement team will be offering the following sessions. For toddlers (0-4years) Wildlings and Toddler Treks and young people (8-16 years) holidays clubs, WildSkills and GetWild. At various locations across the county, including at the Roaches, The Wolseley Centre, Hem Heath Woods and Tucklesholme.

All events will need to be booked online via www.staffs-wildlife.org.uk/events and will be Covid-19 secure. The Trust will be following Government advice, such as group sizes at events, so it is important to read all of the advice for an event before you book. 

Even though some family events won’t return until later in the spring or early summer, the Trust’s Get Wild at Home platform, Get Wild TV and self-led trails across sites means families can still enjoy connecting with nature while they wait for them to return. Aimee Burrows, Wildchild Officer for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, said: "It has felt like a long time coming but we're very much looking forward to getting some of our face-to-face events back up and running and seeing people again.

“It is essential that everyone who wants to attend an event books online so we can keep a track of numbers.

"Having spent so long indoors and behind screens, we can't wait to get back outdoors to deliver our popular series of events."
