The Trust had to temporarily close its stores in Leek and Penkridge, and delay the opening of a new shop in Codsall, in March, as a result of the outbreak.
The shops provide a vital source of funds for the charity and to help it carry out conservation work supporting wildlife and wild places across Staffordshire.
While the lockdown remains in place and shops remain shut, the Trust is encouraging people to help its charity shops in different ways.
Anyone who has had a spring clean during lockdown can sign up for Thrift+ and donate any unwanted and good quality clothes to the Trust. Selecting the Trust as your chosen charity will see a percentage of the proceeds go towards the Trust. People can sign up here https://thrift.plus/pages/donate
People who also have had a declutter of CDs, DVDs and games can sign up to Ziffit, where proceeds go to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust via Virgin Money. The Trust has its own unique link where people can sign up https://www.ziffit.com/en-gb/basket?charityResourceId=e75aaa9d-7a13-42da-a899-e066d67c26bf
A spokesman for the Trust, said: “We realise during this time people may have had a bit more of a sort out than usual, and they can help support the work of our charity by using Thrift+ or Ziffit.com to give us a boost.
“We rely on donations to help run our charity shops, but obviously aren’t taking direct donations at this time. So these are two ways people can really help us and support wildlife and wild places in Staffordshire during this difficult time.”
