The ‘Improve Your Photography Basics’ courses are being held at the Wolseley Centre, led by local professional photographer David Rees, to help people gain or improve their photography skills and take the perfect digital photograph.
The sessions run over two days on three occasions throughout the year. The first course takes place on Saturday 25th April and Saturday 2nd May. Or people can also sign up to attend the course on Saturday 20th and Saturday 27th June, or Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th July.
The course is perfect for people who want to take better photos with their digital cameras and suitable for people with a DSLR or digital camera who have only ever used the automatic settings and wish to improve their photography skills through practical tuition. Course topics include portraiture, landscape and wildlife.
The cost to take part in the course is £40.
Each session will teach you advanced camera controls, light and flash, equipment and composition and specialist techniques.
Sam Pachner, from Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, said: “We get a lot of photographers coming to Wolseley and it’s a great place to take photos of wildlife.
“People may have had a new camera for Christmas and want to make the most out of it, and the course is perfect for those people.”
The Wolseley Centre is the Trust's headquarters, near Rugeley.
