Charity shop, café and reception volunteers wanted

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is searching for more helpers to join its volunteer team.
We’re searching for generous people who are willing to give up their time to help us in our charity shops at both Birches Bridge in Codsall and also Penkridge. This is the perfect chance for local residents to be part of a team that is dedicated to caring for their county’s wildlife and wild places.

The charity is in need of people to help keep charity shops at Codsall and Penkridge running smoothly. There is are also opportunities for cheerful and friendly volunteers to support the charity welcoming visitors at The Wolseley Centre, near Rugeley.

Steven Magill, the Trust’s Commercial Manager, said: “Without our volunteers the charity couldn’t do half of what it does. People often don’t realise we have volunteers helping in all areas of the charity, not just out on nature reserves.

“We’re searching for generous people who are willing to give up their time to help us in our charity shops at both Birches Bridge in Codsall and also Penkridge. This is the perfect chance for local residents to be part of a team that is dedicated to caring for their county’s wildlife and wild places.

“Our charity shops are a vital source of funding for our work and they couldn’t open each day without our committed volunteers.

“We’d also love to find some friendly faces to help our café and reception teams at The Wolseley Centre near Rugeley. We get especially busy over summer, so having an extra pair of hands would make so much difference, and make sure all our visitors have the most enjoyable time with us.”

Applications close on Friday 28 June.
